Exciting product updates are happening at Voxy. Here’s what’s new in October.
Word Bank Update
Voxy’s Word Bank is revitalized to offer a more personalized feel with a continued focus on vocabulary practice. While learners on the web will only notice a subtle change, the performance enhancements behind the scenes will enable us to launch Word Bank on mobile and offer Voxy learners the opportunity to study anywhere.
Auto-Enrolling Courses for Feature Groups
For learners assigned to a feature group, they can now be auto-enrolled during the onboarding process in courses related to these groups. Auto-enrolled courses help ensure course participants are enrolled in career-aligned courses most relevant to learner and company goals.
Updated Login Flows
Soon learners will see an update to the login page. The new sign-in screen will feature more prominent customer branding and provide a user experience that matches the latest designs from the Voxy platform. Administrators will be able to configure options like login with Google and Facebook. More importantly, the new login flow will provide increased security and support for integration with enterprise-level identity providers and learning management systems.
Does your organization use a learning management system (LMS) or an identity provider? Soon Voxy will be able to support integrations with a variety of LMS and enterprise identity applications so learners can easily navigate between your systems and ours. If you’re interested in exploring options for single sign-on, reach out to us.
New Courses for Nursing Assistants
In partnership with Cinematic Health Education, a leading healthcare training provider, Voxy is developing two courses (beginner and advanced) to prepare English language learners for careers as certified nursing assistants. Using material from Cinematic Health Education’s cloud-based training program, ReadyCNA, the beginner course (A2/B1) will review main themes and topics from the ReadyCNA curriculum to allow learners to develop the necessary skills and vocabulary to enroll in the full program. The advanced course will be a ReadyCNA companion course, giving learners the opportunity to review and reinforce topics they are learning as they progress through the full ReadyCNA program.
FEATURED VOXY COURSE
English for Cross-Cultural Training
In Voxy’s English for Cross-Cultural Training course, learners will develop skills to successfully interact with an array of cultures, and broaden their understanding of cultural differences. The course explores living abroad and expounds on variances in English communication around the world. Further, course participants will gain an understanding of cross-cultural business, management strategies including managing a diverse team, as well as perspectives on working in a multinational company.
